Legion Log
Energax was one of the non-Legionnaire super-powered prisoners on Universo's prison planet during the time Universo had taken over Earth.
Energax met up with Saturn Girl while they were hypnotized prisoners together. It was his job to help carry vegetables from the fields to the living quarters. After she used her mental powers to free everyone from Universo's control, he helped them destroy the defense robots and mind-controlling apparatus that Universo had installed.
When Saturn Girl and the three other Legionnaires headed towards Earth, Energax presumably returned to his native planet.
Although Energax was not shown specifically doing anything other than withstanding a laser attack, in two crowd scenes, there is a similarly colored figure blasting at Universo's robot. Given this evidence, and the visual of the "heat" radiating off of Energax's body, it is relatively safe to say that he fires energy blasts and can fly.
None of the details shared in the Who's Who entry above were actually revealed during "the Universo Project" storyline.
Energax never reappeared in any continuity. After Infinite Crisis, his original history has presumably been more or less restored.
Only Energax stories:
Legion of Super-Heroes (v2) #32
Energax debuts as a good Stepford Wife
Legion of Super-Heroes (v2) #33
Energax helped the Legion destroy Universo's prison planet
Sounds like he was very similar to an already existing Legionnaire......
