Uli Algor first encountered the Legion when she was the partner of a would-be super-villain named Sun-Burst in an attempt to steal Legion secrets. She and Sun-Burst kidnapped Shadow Lass and attempted to gain the Legion's trust so that she could gain access to the Legion's computers and download their vast database.

Uli's impersonation of Shadow Lass was thwarted when the Legion was tipped off to suspect an imposter, and then Mon-El realized her recreation of Shadow Lass' powers was not correct.

After she was imprisoned on Takron-Galtos, Uli Algor volunteered for a new prison reformation technique called Prism Therapy that was supposed to alter a criminal's evil tendencies. However, Uli was able to fake being "cured" due to her mastery of all forms of light. Successfully paroled but not reformed, Uli used a special "anti-power" belt that caused every superhero's abilities to be thwarted. She was eventually stopped when Ultra Boy simply knocked her out with a non-powered uppercut.

None of the details of Uli Algor's history or her home planet, etc. were told during either of her chronicled appearances.

Uli Algor never reappeared, in any continuity.

After Infinite Crisis, Uli Algor's original history has presumably been more or less restored.
