They had slain their own father, Daalon, and in their guilt fled to the stars. The three were named Quarra the Creator, Archor the Sustainer, and Tzodar the Destroyer. The promised to return one day to lay waste to Maltus and then the universe would be made anew.

On the planet Elyrion, the Darkstars battled Archor the Sustainer and suffered several casualties. Meanwhile, the L.E.G.I.O.N. were setting up a new base on Maltus when they come under attack Tzodar the Destroyer. Green Lantern arrived to help but does not fair well and Lobo rescued Hal by pulling him out of the battle. When Hal awakened, he found a very angry Vril Dox awaiting him.

Suprema Joins The League of Infinity

“Suprema  The Has-Been Supreme”

Supreme #52A (September 1997)

Writer: Alan Moore

Art: Jim Mooney

Colors: Reuben Rude

review by Emsley "Ultra Fan" Wyatt

Suprema is the younger sister of Supreme, who obtained her powers, like Supreme, by exposure to a Supremium meteorite (shades of Colossal Boy, eh).

Our story opens with your typical Silver Age style splash panel, which shows Suprema arm-wrestling with a pointy eared baby while four other folks look on, snickering at her apparent weakness.

Recap: Green Lantern Hal Jordan is called to an emergency on the planet Scylla, where he finds a giant being terrorizing the population. She calls herself Quarra, Goddess of Creation, and departs once she thinks she has buried Hal alive. When he later reports to his masters, the Guardians of Oa, they recognize the name, and reveal that she is one of three dieties from Maltus, their planet of origin. Eons ago, she and her bothers, Archor the Sustainer and Tzodar the Destroyer, killed their father and fled the planet, promising to one day return and lay waste.

On the planet Elyrion, the Darkstars found themselves battling Archor the Destroyer, who killed several of their members before disappearing. On the planet Maltus, the L.E.G.I.O.N. were in the process of establishing a new base when it came under attack by Tzodar the Destroyer. The battle went poorly for the L.E.G.I.O.N., but Dox hoped to turn the tide once reinforcements arrived. Unfortunately, Tzodar was soon joined by his powerful siblings.

LEGION TOYS: Ra's Al Ghul (DC Signature Collection aka Club Infinite Earths)

One of the Dark Knight Detective's greatest foes,  Ra's Al Ghul, The Demon's Head, has been revealed to be alive and well in the 31st Century of the Legion of Super-Heroes!

Disguising himself as the President of the United Planets, Al Ghul disbanded the Legion and replaced them with his Presidential Oversight Watch. Ultimately once discovered by M'Onel, Ra's al Ghul freely announced his plan to draw Earth's moon closer to Earth to supposedly accelerate the evolutionary abilities of humanity via Hypertaxis. Ra's plan almost came to fruition as he single-handedly defeats most of the Legion in hand-to-hand combat. Luckily, M'Onel and Triad were able to best the Demon's Head.

Recap: On Cairn, t
he team was forced to deal with an intruder that came to find Lydea. They presumed him to be a threat but once he was caught, he turned out to be Lydea's father, and the husband of their deceased teammate, Lyrissa Mallor. Her father told the tale of the Shadow cave on their homeworld from which her mother's family drew their power. A priest had recently arisen and demanded sacrifices, and Lydea's father fled to seek their help.

The L.E.G.I.O.N. split into two teams. Phase's team, including Lydia, headed to Talk VIII, while the recruits tracked down the planet Acheron in hopes of helping the cyborg Darrius, who had been gravely injured in their battle against Ig'nea. Lydea ultimately defeated the Shadow Beast that inhabited the cave and earned the mantle of Champion of Talok VIII.  At the same time, the new recruits find Acheron and a cybernetic population built by Mardock, a mad cybergeneticist. In the past, Darrius had tried to lead his people in rebellion but was cast out by Mardock. On this occasion, he successfully overthrew Mardock and although he did not wish it, became the new ruler of Acheron.

Meanwhile, on Cairn, a series of murders had occurred throughout the capital while at the same time a mysterious caped figure appeared.
