For decades, Hagga was the Royal Sorceress on the planet Orando. She was therefore instrumental in helping her granddaughter, Projectra, to gain her original illusion-casting abilities. However, after Projectra took her abilities off-world to join the Legion, Hagga turned to her grandson, Pharoxx, and began to teach him the mystic arts as well.

When her son, King Voxv, died, Hagga positioned Pharoxx to take over Orando instead of Projectra. Hagga blamed Projectra and the Legion for sullying Orando and also knew that Pharoxx would be an easier ruler to manipulate than Projectra. Pharoxx accused Projectra of murdering her father the King and challenged her and Karate Kid to a duel for the throne. Eventually the Princess, aided by her friends and consort, revealed Hagga's and Pharoxx's manipulations, and Projectra was embraced by her people as the new Queen.

Shortly after Projectra became Queen and married Karate Kid, Pharoxx reached out to the Legion of Super-Villains in order to use them to "free" Orando. Although Pharoxx was shown to have been killed after leading the villains to Orando, Hagga never re-appeared. Perhaps by this point, she had died. This might have been the reason Pharoxx reached out for outworlders' support in the first place.

Hagga appears in neither the Reboot nor the Threeboot.

After Infinite Crisis, Hagga's original history has presumably been more or less restored.
