Planet of Origin: Sklar
Relationship to Legion: Adversaries
Legion Log
Sklar was one of the newer worlds to be proposed for United Planets membership. As a relative new-comer to UP society, Sklar was unaware of the current level of technology available off-world. When introduced to this technology, the matriarchal society coveted more.
In order to acquire more technology for themselves, various Sklarian Raiders were dispatched to acquire it. In several instances, this meant stealing, which brought them into conflict with the Legion. Various different teams of Sklarian Raiders have appeared over the years. All were captured after each conflict and returned to Sklar.
There appears to be at least two races on Sklar. One team of Sklarian Raiders were pale yellow with light blue hair, and two other Sklarian Raiders appeared similar to Earth Caucasians. Each team wore different uniforms and exhibited different accouterments.
Five years after the Magic Wars, Kono becomes the first Sklarian to join the Legion of Super-Heroes. She was the daughter of a Sklarian Raider captain, and eventually joined her mother's crew, though she regretted leaving the Legion, and sometimes returned to help them. For example, she was instrumental in the SW6 Legion stopping Sklarian Raiders from stealing food bound for the struggling community of New Earth.
After the Reboot, Sklarian Raiders are the result of Sklar being destroyed by Mordru, sending desperate, homeless Sklarians into a life of piracy. They came to blows with the Legion several times in the course of their criminal activities. When the Reboot version of Kono is introduced, she is a Sklarian Raider.
The Threeboot does not feature the Sklarian Raiders.
After Infinite Crisis, Sklarian Raiders' original history has presumably been more or less restored. A Sklarian martial artist called Akka becomes a member of the Legion of Super-Villains, but is later killed by Saturn Queen.
