Queeg is the security director of the Science Asteroid, located in the lonely and isolated Asteroid Archipelago at the far edge of the known galaxy. Mon-El met Queeg at the Science Asteroid on one of his many trips into and around uncharted space.

Queeg was on duty at the Science Asteroid when it was the site of a Khund attack of a prototype robotic warcraft. Luckily for Queeg, the Science Asteroid, and the United Planets, Legionnaires Mon-El and Shadow Lass were vacationing at the Science Asteroid at the time of the attack. They were able to destroy the prototype Khund warship and save the Science Asteroid. Queeg then gave them his thanks and sent them on their way.

Queeg never reappeared, in any continuity, including the Reboot and Threeboot.

After Infinite Crisis, Queeg's original history has presumably been more or less restored.
