Questar of Zentor is famous in the United Planets as a hero of various so-called documentaries where he is shown to be defeating various threats to his planet.

However, after he was invited to attend a local ceremony in his honor, the people of the town revealed that the ceremony was a ruse so that they could trick him into appearing on the same day and time as the "Every-Ten-Years-Monster", who appeared right on schedule.

Questar then had to admit to the town and to the visiting Legionnaires that the so-called documentaries were actually films written and produced by him and a production team; that none of the exploits that he was famous for had actually happened. Luckily for Questar and the town, the Legionnaires attacked the monster. Using a maneuver that they had learned by watching one of Questar's films, they defeated the monster. Questar then calmly teleported the monster away.

Questar admitted that although he really did have super-powers, such as the ability to teleport living creatures to a destination of his choice, in the heat of battle he loses his nerve and is basically helpless.

Whether Questar's secret was ever made public or not was never revealed. His whereabouts after meeting the Legion have never been revealed.

Questar never reappeared, in any continuity, including the Reboot and Threeboot

After Infinite Crisis, Questar's original history has presumably been more or less restored.
