The Legion Headquarters circa 2980
In the pages of Secrets of The Legion of Super-Heroes #2, artists Jimmy Janes and Frank Chiaramonte presented this spectacular panorama of the Legion's headquarters in downtown Metropolis. This is the HQ that was destroyed by Brainiac Five in Legion of Super-Heroes (v2) #311.

I know I'm overthinking this, but the flag is almost as big as the flagpole. How do you tell if it's flying at half-mast?

ReplyDeleteThis is the version that was rebuilt after Brainiac 5 destroyed it in S/LSH 250-251. Okay it was really Wildfire that blew it up, but it was all Brainy's fault.
