2020 sucked, we can't kid ourselves about that. We all had the pandemic going on, some of us either had COVID or someone we knew had COVID, most of us on here genuinely cannot stand the new Legion comic, and I know I'm reeling because my grandfather recently died.
But there's still Christmas, and the holidays, so here. I commissioned my friend dklem to do X-Ray Girl, one of the newest Legionnaires created by Ryan Sook. I know most of us aren't fond of Bendis's Legion, but Sook's art has (aside from Karate Kid's racist design) been nice to look at. A lot of our speculation the past year was regarding whoever this girl was and unfortunately she still hasn't been given a chance to shine.
I felt at least she should be given her due.
I've been commissioning dklem a lot this past year and she's done a number of sketches for me through ko-fi regarding all my different interests.
Here's to Super-Bloggers and here's hoping 2021 is better.

I feel bad for X-Ray Girl. She's in all the promo & some covers yet she's pushed to the back among nothing else happening in the book & Her names not revealed until the tpb of the book along with TWO MORE new Legionnaires that you have to use a microscope to find in issue 9.
ReplyDeleteAt least we got to learn her name. I was half-expeting that Bendis run would blisfully end and she would be remenbered as "that misterious trasparent legionnarie with even less identity that the rest".
DeleteDo you know what her powers are or we only got a name? I ask cause if her only power is to have x-rays inward and offward she would be more reject material that anything else.
And you got me curious, who're the others new legionnaries?
