At some point after the so-called Five-Year Gap, Timber Wolf was sent to the late 20th Century where he met Thrust, an teenage alien working in San Francisco for a government paramilitary group called Point Force. Born of a Durlan mother and an unknown father who apparently put a price on his head for running a pirate/smuggling operation, Thrust was born with the power to mimic others' powers. When he encountered Timber Wolf, he immediately attacked, thinking he was an agent of his father's, but once the misunderstanding straightened out, would become working partners.

Thurst has yet to appear beyond these few shared adventures with Timber Wolf.
